Teaching practice Week -1 (Day 1-6)

Day 1: 10/06/2024 - Monday

As per Bed curriculum we had to Complete 30 days teaching practice, for that purpose 18 of us got Lakshmi Vilasom  High School, Pothencode as our training school.

Our first day of teaching practice was on 10th Jume 2024. I reached school around 8:45 Am and after all our classmates came we met Head Mistress and signed our attendance. The authorities also arranged a room for  us.

First bell was at 9:50 Am after that there was prayer then we went to meet our concern teachers and signed out lesson plan My concern teacher was Ratheesh sir.

Today in the auditorium from 10 Am there, was Navy exam for 8th standard students of NCC. Then during 4th period there was drawing competition conducted as part of environment day by science club

Today I had two period substitution one was during 4th hour in 8E and othes one was during 5th hour in 10 F After all classes national anthem was theil at 3:45PM. Then we went for discipline chity, after that around 4pm we signed our attendance and left.

Day 2- 11/06/2024 - Tuesday 

Today was the second day of our teaching practice, I reached school around 8:50 Am. Then around 9:30 we went for discipline duty. After that around 9:50 we signed our attendance.

Prayer was there at 9:50 Am after the first bell. Then we went to meet our concern teachers and signed our lesson plan.

Navy exam result was published today. And today there was exam for selecting SPC students. In the evening SPC preliminary exam result was publiahed. Today there was also poster making competion for interested students as part of environment day.

Today I had four periods subatitution that was during 2nd period in 10 C, 3rd period in 10 F, 5th period in 10 D and 6 th period in 8L. Today my class hour was during 4th period in 9J.

After all claases national anthem was played around 3:45 and then we went for discipline duty. After that around 4PM we signed our attendance and left. 

Day 3-12/06/2024 - Wednesday

Today was the third day of our teaching practice. I reached school around 8:40 Am. Then around 9:30 we signed our attendance and went for discipline duty.

Prayer was around 9:50 Am after the first bell. Then we went to meet our concern teachers and signed our lesson plan.

Today there was SPC main exam. for  selected students. Today I had two periods substitution that was during 2nd period in 10 O and 3rd period in 8O.

Today our principal, Salini Ma'am visited  us. Then around 12:45 we went for lunch duty.

As usual after all classes national anthem was played at 3:45 PM then we signed our attendance and went for discipline duty. After that around 4Pm we left the campus.

Day 4-13/06/2024 - Thursday 

Today was the fourth day of our teaching practice. I reached school around 8:50 Am. Then around 9:30 we signed our attendance and went for discipline duty.

Prayer was around 9:50 Am after the first bell. Then we went to meet our concern teachers and signed our lesson plan.

Today there was an awareness talk by Shiju sir from health department for students about rabies virus, its vaccine and precautions during the first period.. Then during 7th period there was kho kho practice for selected students.Today I had 3rd period substitution in 9J

 Then around 12:45 we went for lunch duty.

As usual after all classes national anthem was played at 3:45 PM then we signed our attendance and went for discipline duty. After that around 4Pm we left the campus.

Day 5-14/06/2024 - Friday

Today was the fifth day of our teaching practice. I reached school around 8:50 Am. As it was friday there was slight change in the time schedule. At 9 Am we signed our attendance and went for discipline duty. First bell was at 9:15 Am and prayer was at 9:30 Am. . Then we went to meet our concern teachers and signed our lesson plan. 

During 2nd period students who were interested to join season watch of Mathribhumi seed club was called to the auditorium. Then those who passed SPC main exam were called for physical test.

And in the afternoon session students who wish to go to church were taken to church by giving them pass.

Today I had two periods substitution that was during 4th period in 8J and 5th period in 9C. And my class hours was during 3rd and 6th hour in 9 J.

After all classes national anthem was played and at 3:40 we went for discipline duty then we signed our attendance and around 4Pm we left the campus

Day 6-15/06/2024 = Saturday 

Today was the sixth day of our teaching practice. I reached school around 8:50 Am. Then around 9:20 we signed our attendance and went for discipline duty.

Today most of the Engkish teachers were in leave and we engaged their classes. Thus today I had five periods that was during 1st hour in 9 K, 2nd hour in 10 P, 3rd hour in 10 H, 4th hour in 10 A and 5th hour in 9B

 Today there wad little kites exam for registered students.

  Then around 230 classes were over and students and we met HM signed our attendance and left the campus around 3PM

Week -1 Reflection

This week I got 5periods in 9J and I dealt with the lesson "Half a day "

This week there was SPC main exam, little kites exam and NCC exam. Then there was an awareness talk by Shiju sir from health department based on rabies virus.
